Common Issues

Extension not showing up on Twitter?

Try these steps: (1) Refresh the Twitter page with Cmd/Ctrl + R, (2) Check if the extension is enabled at chrome://extensions, (3) Make sure you're on twitter.com or x.com, not a third-party client.

Replies not generating?

Check your usage limit in the extension popup. Free tier gets 20 generations/month. If you've hit your limit, upgrade to a paid plan or wait for your monthly reset.

Text not inserting into Twitter?

Twitter's reply box must be focused first. Click directly on the reply textarea, then try generating again. If it still doesn't work, use the "Copy" button and paste manually.

API key not working?

Double-check your OpenRouter API key for typos. Make sure your OpenRouter account has credits. You can also sign up for a TweetReplier account to use our built-in AI without managing your own key.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Click the TweetReplier extension icon → Account tab → Manage Subscription. You'll be redirected to the billing portal where you can cancel anytime. No questions asked.

Can I get a refund?

Yes! We offer pro-rated refunds within 7 days of your initial purchase. Contact billing@tweetreplier.com with your account email and we'll process your refund.

Auto DM not sending?

Make sure Auto DM is enabled in settings and you haven't hit the daily limit (750/day on Pro plan). DMs only trigger for new engagements after enabling the feature.

How do I update my profile?

Click the TweetReplier extension icon → Profile tab. Update your description, topics, writing style, and preferences. Changes take effect immediately.
