Getting Started

Installation

  1. Open TweetReplier in the Chrome Web Store
  2. Click "Add to Chrome" and confirm the installation
  3. Pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access
  4. Navigate to Twitter/X and you're ready to go!

Initial Setup

After installation, click the TweetReplier icon to configure:

  • Account: Sign in with email or Google so usage, billing, and plan access are tied to your account
  • Profile: Add context about yourself, your writing style, and topics you care about
  • Preferences: Choose your default tone and personal writing preferences
💡 Pro Tip: The more context you provide in your profile, the better TweetReplier can match your authentic voice.

Basic Usage

Generating a Reply

  1. Browse Twitter and find a tweet you want to reply to
  2. Look for the TweetReplier inline bar that appears below tweets
  3. Optionally paste source content or add your angle/perspective
  4. Select your desired tone (or use Auto-tone)
  5. Click "Generate Reply"
  6. Review the generated reply and click to insert it into Twitter's composer

Creating New Tweets

  1. Click the TweetReplier extension icon
  2. Navigate to the "New Tweet" tab
  3. Enter your idea, topic, or paste source content
  4. Choose your tone and length (short/medium/long)
  5. Generate and copy to Twitter

Customization

User Profile

Your profile helps TweetReplier understand your voice:

  • Description: Who you are, what you do
  • Topics: Your areas of expertise and interest
  • Style: Casual, professional, humorous, thoughtful, or bold
  • Emoji Usage: Frequent, moderate, minimal, or none
  • Hashtags: Whether you use hashtags

TweetReplier personalizes drafts without imitating a named public figure. You control the result with:

Source-First Content

TweetReplier's source-first approach lets you generate replies based on real content:

  1. Find a post, web page, study, or note you want to reference
  2. Copy the URL or paste relevant excerpts into the source field
  3. Optionally add your angle or perspective
  4. Generate a reply that references your source authentically
💡 Pro Tip: Use the URL fetch feature to automatically extract source context from web pages.

Plans & Limits

TweetReplier is subscription-based. All AI generation runs through the TweetReplier backend, so you do not need to bring or manage your own AI API key.

  • Free: 25 AI generations per month, 14 tones, reply generation, new tweet composition, and sarcasm detection
  • Pro: $14/month or $134.40/year, 500 generations per month, a one-time 7-day/50-generation trial with no card, personal voice controls, auto-tone, source-first content, rewriting, and analysis
  • Creator: $29/month or $278.40/year, 2,000 generations per month, persona training, long-form content, priority queue, and priority support

Troubleshooting

Extension Not Showing Up

  • Refresh the Twitter page (Cmd/Ctrl + R)
  • Check if the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions
  • Make sure you're on twitter.com or x.com

Replies Not Generating

  • Check your usage limit in the extension popup
  • Make sure you are signed in and your plan is active
  • Make sure you have an active internet connection

Text Not Inserting

  • Click directly on Twitter's reply box first
  • Use the "Copy" button as a fallback
  • Refresh the page and try again

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data private?

Tweet context is processed only when you request a generation. Routine generation content is not retained by the generation endpoint. When quality monitoring is enabled, the original post and generated reply may be stored separately under your account for batch quality analysis; see the Privacy Policy for details.

Can I use my own AI models?

No. TweetReplier is subscription-based and does not support BYOK. Model access is handled automatically by your plan.

Does it work on mobile?

TweetReplier is a Chrome extension, so it only works on desktop Chrome/Chromium browsers.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel your subscription from your account dashboard. No questions asked.
